After earning a B.A. in Business Administration and PR and emigrating to the U.S. from Mexico, Liz began her staffing career in California’s Monterrey Bay and Central Valley over 20 years ago.
Early in her career she worked with several well-known agriculture companies between Salinas, CA and Yuma, AZ, but always maintained a position close to customer service and employee relations. With the knowledge and experience she gained, Liz made the transition to staffing with a 4-year stint at Manpower.
In 2004, Liz prepared to purchase her own staffing franchise and researched 4 different companies. When making her final decision, AtWork stood out with one very special gesture. She received information back from AtWork and was personally called by the owner, John Hall, who promised a longer conversation the following day, which was Thanksgiving. So, at 6pm as she was seasoning her feast, she and John Hall talked and talked about all things staffing, and by the end of it she was sold.
The years following, Liz received many awards for her service to not only local business but also the community (2008). Her office along with AtWork has been listed on the INAVERO Best of Staffing list as both customer and employee preference for several years running. Since then, AtWork bought back the Salinas location and promoted Liz to oversee Salinas and other area offices and reside as the Director of West Coast Operations. Currently Liz’s office staffs multiple companies in the Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito tri-county areas as well as Oxnard and Heron California, and Yuma Arizona.
